The Intensive Stabilization, Assessment and Treatment program is a staff secure and facility semi-secure cottage located on our main campus for a maximum of five older teenage boys. Each has his own bedroom, and their intensive clinical treatment, education and recreation is provided on-site. Staffing ratios are higher than in our residential treatment dormitories. The first boys in this dorm named themselves The Eagles, citing they wanted "To soar".
Intense on-site services are provided, including an initial psychiatric evaluation, two psychiatry appointments per week for symptom management and medication review, and weekly staff consult. Psychological intervention and/or assessment is provided on-site and increases in intensity for each client as needed. Minimally, a doctorate-level psychologist leads clinical group twice per week, participates in weekly case review and provides staff support. A master's level clinician provides at least 90 minutes of individual, family therapy and/or group therapy weekly.
