A seven-week Summer Program augments the regular school year. This program provides students with an atmosphere that stresses academic enrichment, remediation and enjoyment utilizing a wide selection of recreational, cultural and sports activities.  Yearly themes include topics relating to the environment or cultural diversity.  The Summer Program involves field trips, art and music relevant to the theme.

A comprehensive work experience program runs in conjunction with the summer program.  Age-appropriate youth, who have developed work skills through career education during the academic year, may be eligible for a variety of work programs on and off campus.
